Alderfer Glass Lifetime Limited Warranty (Lynx Services)-
Replacement
Fixed glass installations (i.e windshields) are warranted for the life of the vehicle against leakage and stress cracks, except that which occurs as a result of vehicle collision damage or metal panel deterioration (rust). All other auto glass replacement is warranted for one year against defects of workmanship. All operating parts are warranted for 30 days against mechanical failure.
Repairs
Windshield repairs are guaranteed to last for the life of the vehicle. If a windshield repair continues to crack after service has been performed successfully, the cost of the repair or applicable deductible will be credited towards a new windshield installation.
Applicable or additional deductible for replacement shall be customer responsibility.
Lifetime warranty does not cover state inspection pass/fail nor does it apply to customers perceived visual clarity of repaired break. Consumer should be aware that break may still be visible even after successful repair, and that further breakage of windshield is possible during repair process. Alderfer Glass Co. will not be liable in instances of breakage during repair although a replacement windshield may be furnished at discounted cost.
Limitations & Exclusions
This warranty expires with change in ownership of identified vehicle. This warranty relates to workmanship issues only, e.g. leakage and installation related issues. Glass breakage which is not directly the result of improper installation (stress cracks) is not warranted. Determination of stress crack is to be made by Alderfer Glass Co. representative. Breakage or leaks as a result of vehicle collision, rust, pre-existing damage/issues or poor vehicle design are not warranted. Warranty applies to service performed by Alderfer Glass Co. only and does not apply to unrelated vehicle issues and/or preexisting conditions. Any windshield related service performed by another company after prior service by Alderfer Glass Co. voids the lifetime warranty and warranty is considered expired. Warranty is to be claimed directly to Alderfer Glass Co. in a reasonable time frame after service, and will be remedied according to their terms. Any issues not able to be resolved directly by Alderfer Glass Co. at one of their facilities (third-party) must be approved in writing by an Alderfer Glass Co. representative. Third party bills will not be paid without prior authorization. Lifetime warranty is limited to purchase price of original product. In no event shall Alderfer Glass Co., Lynx Services, PPG or its participants be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
